You know what's even funnier: I got this off a Yahoo! group, so I don't know it's exact origin; but I Googled It's Generic by Kyle Baker and found out it was a strip he was doing for Marvel Age circa 1983. What are the odds that a throw-away panel gag would still be timely and relevant 25 years later!!? Crazy.
