    I think it's interesting that this is more or less an origins story for Green Lantern...yet they have Sinestro in his yellow Sinestro Corp uniform and Boodika, an Alpha Lantern...all over which just occurred with in the last couple of years.

    I ammend my statement...I just wiki'd Boodikka and read that she was original a Green Lantern before becoming an Alpha Lantern...

    I did know that Boodikka was a Green Lantern before she went Alpha. Still, she didn't come on the scene until 1992...long after Hal's "First Flight" as a GL. But, it's the movies, they always have to make changes. Like Sinestro's outfit. They want the "modern" fans to get into it, too. ;-)

    I just want to know WHY they changed Hal's uniform. It's like a weird cross between his current uniform and John Stewart's, with a little bit of Hal's "Mortal Kombat" uniform thrown in for good measure. Darn it, I LIKE the white gloves. They always used to crack me up -- Green Lantern, the Mantel-Tester of the Universe! --> "Ewwww, just look at this dust! Someone needs to clean up around here!" ;-)

    Well, my first reaction to your costume rant is "wah!" They changed Wonder Woman's costume, so everyone is fair game as far as I'm concerned. :-P

    Heh.

    But I have to say "Green Lantern, the Mantel-Tester of the Universe!" almost knocked me out of my chair. That's hysterical!!! I love it!!
